  • Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
  • Luka Doncic
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo
  • Jayson Tatum
  • Nikola Jokic

Gilgeous-Alexander, Doncic, Antetokounmpo and Jokic are the best in their positions, they are also strong candidates for the MVP title this season.

Jokic continues to prove he is the most complete player in the NBA today. The Serbian striker is an unstoppable scorer. Jokic is also the Denver Nuggets’ best playmaker this season. He is currently the strongest candidate for the MVP title, and deserves to be named in the All-NBA First Team.

Jokic’s competitor in the MVP race is Gilgeous-Alexander. The former LA Clippers defender is having a season of rapid progress with OKC Thunder. Gilgeous-Alexander is both the main scorer and leader of Thunder’s second-youngest squad in the tournament.

Doncic is simply unstoppable. No defense can mark the Slovenian star.

Doncic has improved his stepback ability this season, making his 1vs1 situations even more unpredictable and dangerous, as evidenced by his 73-point match against the Atlanta Hawks. If the opponent wants to send many people to guard Doncic, don’t forget that he is a defender with excellent vision and passing ability.

The last position in squad 1 is Tatum. He is the No. 1 star of the Boston Celtics – the team that will lead the NBA after the regular season. Tatum’s comprehensiveness in attack and defense is the reason why he deserves to be on the NBA’s first team.

All-NBA Second Team

  • Anthony Edwards
  • Jalen Brunson
  • Kawhi Leonard
  • Kevin Durant
  • Anthony Davis

The Minnesota Timberwolves are one of the biggest surprises this season, from a team with only 42 wins last season, currently leading the West with 54 wins and still have 4 games left to improve their performance. One of the reasons for Wolves’ transformation is the outstanding maturity of Anthony Edwards. His ability to score excellent and consistent points, especially at the end of the game, is the key for Wolves to handle opponents in difficult matches.

Jalen Brunson is the leader leading the New York Knicks through a difficult season. In the context of Mitchell Robinson and Julius Randle’s frequent injuries, Brunson was the one who lifted the whole team up. Not only has Brunson completed his offensive duties, he has also improved significantly in his ability to support defense this season.

After many seasons plagued by injuries, Kawhi Leonard has returned to his original image on both sides of the field. The Klaw is one of the best 1v1 defensive players in the NBA, while in attack, he is a big threat with a good finishing skill set at all ranges.

The series of sublime performances of the LA Lakers at the end of the season had a significant contribution from Anthony Davis. He is one of the five best defensive players this season, with an average of 2.4 blocks per game. In addition, the Lakers’ center forward is also a good offensive player with 3.1 offrebounds and a shooting rate of 55.4%.

The other person on the list is Kevin Durant. At age 35, Durant is still at his peak with 27.4 points per game, the 5th highest this season. Durant has a 3-point shooting rate of 41.8% and is also a good defender for the Phoenix Suns.

  • Stephen Curry
  • Tyrese Haliburton
  • De’Aaron Fox
  • LeBron James
  • Victor Wembanyama

Stephen Curry did not have as good a season as last year, his scoring, shooting and passing ability all declined. However, The Chef is still one of the top players in the NBA, especially in the late game. Curry is still very classy and always knows how to shine when the team is in trouble.

Haliburton slowed down in the second half of the season, a hamstring injury and the departure of good partner Buddy Heild caused the Indiana Pacers defender to not be in his best form. However, Haliburton has shown his class, his throwing ability, speed and especially his extraordinary creating ability are at the heart of the Pacers’ fast-paced play.

The Sacramento Kings deserve a name on the All-NBA team, and it should be De’Aaron Fox. He is an agile defender, capable of throwing the ball and hitting close to the basket well. In particular, Fox is one of the best players in the late game.

LeBron James continues to maintain incredible efficiency at the age of 39. When serious, James is the top defensive player in the NBA and always a great threat on offense. James’ physical and technical skills are not inferior to any star at the present time.

Wembanyama may be a controversial choice because of the poor performance of the San Antonio Spurs this season. But the French rookie deserves recognition, he is a candidate for the Defensive Player of the Year title, attacking effectively even in a bad team.
